From the middle of a very mild Sydney winter comes HEAVY DUTY #207, July/August 2026. Where’s the rain and miserable cold weather? Dunno but we’ll make the most of it.
Leading the way is the base model Street Glide FLHX. Mick reckons it’s wrong calling it a base model but that’s what it is. He was finding excuses and inventing reasons to ride the MY26 FLHX at every opportunity. Yep, it turned his head!
Dave Cohen was out and about on the 2026 Indian Chieftain exploring SE Queensland for good rides to share with the rest of us.
Mick’s next test was the Pan America 1250 Special, a bike that really does tick a lot of boxes. Fair to say that we’re fans.
You probably noticed Chemistry – the outrageous Buell on the cover. American Dreams have kicked another round ball into the back of the net with this wild creation. Also cover-worthy is California Dreamin’, a stunning makeover of a Sport Glide. It’s what mates do. Customs don’t end there: RedBlack is a cracker of a Shovel rigid from Victoria while Twisted Chopper is a rigid Shovel from The Netherlands.
Phil Heath landed back in Australia for a visit and scored an escorted ride round the Coffs Coast hinterland with local legend Ash Beaton. Stretch shared his trip to the Bangkok Hot Rod Show, and Paul brought a yarn back from Rattle Trap IX.
All of this as well as Westy’s Shed, On The Tools and real Tech Torq; all from folk with grease under their fingernails.
Grab a copy now from better bike shops, or on July 6 from newsagents, across Australia and New Zealand.
