We get to see a variety of the finest custom bikes built worldwide. Various styles and budgets; we see them all.

Occasionally we see bikes that grab our attention due to new ways of doing old things, or a new combination of parts.

Then there’s Organique, our cover bike from January/February 2026. The level of detail and hand-made parts from Neil Merchant at Unique Cycle Service lifts this bike above anything else we’ve seen this year.

Even after a month of running our eyes over the pics, we’re still finding new touches. Full credit to Graham Collie for doing this bike the justice it deserves.

But that’s not the whole story of HEAVY DUTY #204. Paul Bailey has had a Breakout in his custody for a full road test and has come away smiling.  Phil Heath brings us the inside and outside story on New Zealand’s 2025 HOG Rally from Palmerston North.

Shovelfest and the Harley City Collection open day made for a huge weekend in Victoria.

Geelong Harley-Davidson’s Retro Slim is a very clever re-work that has turned a modern into a classic. TT racing history comes from the Netherlands in the form a half-a-Harley.

New models for 2026 from Indian are shown alongside Harley’s carryover models.

All of this as well as more custom bikes, On The Tools with Mick, Westy’s Shed, and real Tech Torq from folk with grease under their fingernails.

Grab a copy now from better bike shops, or on January 5 from newsagents, across Australia and New Zealand.
